Taylor graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a bachelor’s in Anthropology and is now finishing her master’s in Historical Archaeology at the University of West Florida. She has extensive experience with laboratory and collections work as well as shipwreck and plantation archaeology, having excavated on land and underwater in Virginia, Florida, Bermuda, and the Caribbean. At the center of all her work is a passion for public archaeology. Before joining New South and the VCP, Taylor worked as an Archaeology Assistant with the Florida Public Archaeology Network.
