The Veterans Curation Program (VCP) flagship laboratory in Alexandria, Virginia was originally located in the old Carnegie Library building in downtown Washington, D.C. In 2011, it moved to historic Old Town Alexandria. A total of 271 veterans have been employed in the Washington, D.C. and Alexandria facilities. Currently, New South employs six (7) archaeological laboratory technicians in the Alexandria VCP.
