Flagship Laboratories
Currently, there are four flagship Veterans Curation Program laboratories, located in Alexandria, VA; Augusta, GA; St. Louis, MO; and San Mateo, CA.
The flagship locations are situated in communities that have veteran support networks and specialized veteran services. They are located with access to public transportation and amenities, such as shops and restaurants.
The flagship laboratories are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), with the exception of some collections storage areas.
Satellite Laboratories (on-site, university-based)
Additionally, the Veterans Curation Program has a satellite (on-site, university-based) location at Texas State University’s Center for Archaeological Studies.

The U.S. Army Engineer Research Development Center’s (ERDC) Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL)
This lab is taking the Veterans Curation Program in an exciting new direction! The U.S. Army Engineer Research Development Center’s (ERDC) Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) is co-located with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. CERL is ERDC’s premier center for developing innovative technologies to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Nation. Rather than working with archaeological collections, the Veterans Curation Program mission at ERDC CERL is to catalog and digitize their engineering records and archives.
