Kelly Loud (B.A. in Anthropology, University of Colorado at Boulder) currently serves as a Laboratory Manager in the San Mateo VCP. She previously served as the Assistant Lab Manager in the St. Louis location. Kelly has considerable experience in cultural resource management consulting for archaeological projects in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, North Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Arizona, and Alaska. She has experience with laboratory and collections experience in a variety of contexts, including, but not limited to: cataloging and curation work for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and History Colorado; extensive seed oral history documentation and analysis at Seed Savers Exchange; and curation of diagnostic artifacts for the Gateway West Class III Report. She also has experience in museum exhibit design with Seed Savers Exchange in Northeastern Iowa. In addition to her work in the US, Kelly worked as an archaeologist in Oaxaca, Mexico surveying and mapping the Mixtec site of Teozacoalco.
