RYN INGALLS

ASSISTANT LABORATORY MANGER

Ryn Ingalls (M.A. in Social Science-Anthropology, Georgia Southern University; B.A in Psychology, Thomas Edison State University) currently serves as an Assistant Laboratory Manager in the Augusta VCP. Ryn enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1994 and was deployed to Poland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Later, Ryn was responsible for strategic satellite communications for the entire eastern seaboard before eventually retiring as the instructor in charge of the satellite network controller course.
After retiring, Ryn completed their master’s degree at Georgia Southern University. Their research focused on discrimination against minority religions in the United States. After graduation they participated in the Veterans Curation Program in Augusta before serving as the Assistant Director of the Harlem Museum and Welcome Center (home of the Laurel and Hardy Museum), where they were responsible for curation, exhibits, databases, museum policies, and storage.
