Cultural Resources Survey of Proposed Pennsylvania Route 166 Bridge

One of the Pittsburgh District collections processed by VCP technicians was the Cultural Resources Survey of Proposed Pennsylvania Route 166 Bridge located in Fayette County, Pennsylvania.  The Phase I investigation resulted in the boundary expansion of an important previously identified archaeological site, The New Geneva Pottery Site (36FA91).  The collection, which included 343 artifacts and associated archives, adds to the large data set associated with this important nineteenth-century industrial site.
