Grace Gronniger (M.S. in Applied Anthropology, Missouri State University) serves as the Artifacts Lab Manager in the St. Louis VCP.  A Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA), Grace’s experience is primarily historical archaeology, with a research specialization is historical glass tableware, including X-ray fluorescence analysis of historic glass tableware to assist in analyzing composition and age. Grace has conducted archaeological research at a number of Missouri sites and worked with the Malheur National Forest in Oregon, the Center for Archaeological Research in Springfield Missouri, the Missouri Department of Transportation, the Springfield-Greene County History Museum, and Missouri State University before joining the VCP. Grace’s interests include public archaeology and historical archaeology of the Industrial Age.
