Dr. J. W. (Joe) Joseph is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) with 37 years experience in cultural resource management. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of South Carolina and a M.A. in American Civilization and PhD in Historical Archaeology from the University of Pennsylvania. Joe has experience in all phases of archaeological services as well as in planning and public outreach efforts and has served on boards and committees for both state and national archaeological and cultural resource management associations. Joe serves as the Administrator for the NSA and Program Director for the VCP.
